VirtuoSimo™ : The Universal Wireless Development, Test and
Debugging Tool
VirtuoSimo™ is at the cutting edge of the wireless Java technology.
Strongly focusing in the current versions on the development,
test and pre-deployment of end-to-end Java SIM Toolkit-based
solutions, VirtuoSimo™ is evolving towards a wider range of
wireless technologies, such as J2ME, Bluetooth, etc.
VirtuoSimo™ has been entirely developed using the Java programming
language and opposite to some wrong general rumours about
Java, offer the same ease and speed of usage as any other
platforms.
- A GSM phase 2+ mobile handset equipped with a SIM card
that can hold one or more applications.
- An SMS service, providing an open interface (API), to
allow developers to benefit from an open environment to
integrated middleware and back-end applications. For instance,
if developing a mobile banking application, the user will
be able to connect VirtuoSimo™ to a banking authorisation
network.
In reality, VirtuoSimo™ enables a simulation of independent
GSM phase 2+ mobile handsets and SMS services. |
