Paris, France
Bantry Technologies today announced the general availability of its VirtuoSimo™ 3G product,
in version 3.1. This new release includes all functionalities of the initial 3G release of May 31,
2004 as well as the management of non alphabetic characters, also known as UCS2. Taking into
account the diversity of languages and writings worldwide, VirtuoSimo™ now offers a unique
functionality for non-latin alphabetical (cyrilic, chinese, etc.) users to work on Java Card™ SIM
Toolkit applets using their native languages. Displays on the simulated handsets enable developers
and testers to visually interact with the simulators, from left to right - e.g. Chinese, Russian -
or even from right to left - e.g. Arabic -. This add-on has been tested using live SIM, USIM and
handsets devices deployed in the said countries. The new release of the tool includes this functionality
by default on every version and proves that Bantry Technologies is dedicated to the comfort and
expectations of all their customers worldwide.
