Rococo Impronto™ simulator runs Java applications in a simulated Bluetooth environment allowing developers to simply test and configure applications before deploying them on Bluetooth devices. Impronto Simulator is 100% Java and supports standard Java APIs for Bluetooth Wireless Technology (JABWT).

SIM cards can now communicate in a bearer independent manner (BIP). Bluetooth is one of the protocols that can be used by the SIM applet to exchange data with Bluetooth devices. VirtuoSimo™ and Impronto™ are complementary. Each time a SIM Toolkit command needs to communicate in Bluetooth, a call to Impronto™ is performed to provide the developer community with the opportunity to leverage the technologies into a simple piece of software.

Currently presented as integrated software, the VirtuoSimo™ - Impronto™ platform offers a way to develop a full SIM Toolkit based application using the Bluetooth protocol and to benefit from the two simulated environments.
